Pablo Perezalonso has more than 33 years of experience advising on international banking and securities transactions, banking regulation and derivative financial transactions, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, as well as data protection and FinTech regulatory matters. He has advised Mexican and foreign financial institutions on both debt and equity issues through complex instruments including structured notes, warrants, tracs and capital notes. He has also participated in the structuring and restructuring secured and unsecured credit facilities for Mexican private and public sector borrowers.
Prior to joining the firm in 1994, Pablo participated in the North American Free Trade Agreement negotiations as part of the Mexican government's legal team from 1991 to 1993. Subsequently, he worked as a foreign associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley and McCloy in New York from1993-1994.
He is currently an independent member of the Board of Directors of JP Morgan.
