Ritch Mueller was founded in 1975 in Mexico City by a group of professionals lead by James E. Ritch, with the idea of establishing a specialized practice with a transactional approach to address the needs of the financial sector.

Our firm initially focused on advising international investment and commercial banks in their activities in Mexico. Today, our practice areas have grown to transform Ritch Mueller into a multidisciplinary firm serving domestic and international clients. As a result, our banking and finance, and capital markets practice areas have been complemented by other areas such as arbitration and dispute resolution, aviation, competition and antitrust, compliance, anti-trust and investigations, energy and infrastructure projects, environmental and social impact, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, restructurings and insolvency, and tax.

From our offices in Mexico City, we provide services to all economic sectors in Mexico.
