Competition and Antitrust

Our Firm has extensive experience representing Mexican and foreign clients in different markets in relation to antitrust and competition matters. We provide advice on the concepts, regulations and procedures associated with merger clearance and merger control issues (such as  gun jumping cases and investigations for illegal concentrations) and investigations for abuse of dominance, cartels (including applications to leniency programs), barriers to entry and essential inputs. We also advise clients on the design and implementation of antitrust and competition due diligence and compliance programs.

We are particularly active advising clients in complex transactions in all aspects of the merger clearance procedure, including the authorization of non-compete and exclusivity clauses and negotiation, monitoring and implementation of commitments.
