The Legal Industry Reviews, Mexico
Our partner Brenda Rogel and associate Ana Paulina Arenas present in this article published in the "Environmental" section of the 12th edition of The Legal Industry Reviews Mexico magazine, a practical case to explain how to identify a forested area and what are its legal implications. They also discuss the importance of obtaining an authorization from SEMARNAT or ASEA before carrying out any forestry vegetation removal, as such action without the corresponding approval is considered a crime.
"...the loss of forest areas, alongside with recent deforestation scandals, have made forest land a focus of attention for the development of any project".
