We represented EDP Renováveis and EDP Renewables Europe, the acquisition of the shares representing 100% of the share capital of the Mexican company Parque Solar Los Cuervos.
Represented BBVA as lender in the refinancing of the construction loans made to Estación de Compresión Soto la Marina, a special purpose company owned by Enagas and Fermaca. This project financing was documented pursuant to Mexican law. Our firm conducted all aspects of due diligence review and drafting and negotiation of all finance and security documents required in respect of the transaction.
Represented BofA Securities in its capacity as solicitation agent in the consent solicitation process conducted by Metalsa.
Has advised financial institutions and domestic and foreign companies in energy and infrastructure project financing, and in the acquisition and sale of projects in Mexico.
Participated in the financing of EVM Energy projects for the development, construction and operation of a 99MW natural gas combined cycle power plant.
Has advised clients regarding merger clearances before Cofece in connection with mergers and acquisitions transactions, especially in the real estate and banking and financial sectors.
Has advised clients in obtaining a favorable opinion form the Cofece and the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) in cross participation, pursuant to the Hydrocarbons Law and the Federal Economic Competition Law.
