    Alessandra Mateos Nieto has significant experience advising multinational companies in mining, oil and gas, energy, aquaculture, species conservation, hotels, transportation, real estate, health, chemical, food and commercial industries on environmental regulation matters. She specializes in regulatory and controversy processes before environmental and administrative authorities. She has particular experience in due diligence and feasibility of projects related to financing, transactions and purchase and sale of various industries.
  • RELEVANT TRANSACTIONS
    • Represented Walton Street Capital in the acquisition of the JW Marriot Hotel in Mexico City.
    • Represented Thor Urbana Capital in the acquisition of several mixed-use and commercial projects in Mexico.
    • Represented several companies in strategic litigation matters before environmental authorities such as SEMARNAT, ASEA, COFEPRIS and PROFEPA.
    • Participated in a Pro Bono matter regarding irrigation districts and water use.
    • Represented a hotel chain in obtaining Federal Maritime Terrestrial Zone Concessions.
    • Represented Prologis, in regulatory and environmental matters, including the analysis of soil contamination and the respective remediation process, in connection with the acquisition of an industrial property located in Mexico City.
