Pablo Perezalonso joined the firm in 1994 and has been a partner since 2000.
He has a distinguished track record advising on international banking and capital markets transactions, derivatives, financial regulation, mergers and acquisitions, as well as regulatory and compliance matters related to Fintech and data protection. He represents Mexican and international financial institutions in debt and equity offerings though complex instruments such as structured notes, warrants, tracs, and equity certificates. He also participates in structuring and restructuring financings for public and private entities in Mexico.
Before joining, Pablo served on the Mexican government legal team during the North American Free Trade Agreement negotiations and subsequently gained international experience as a foreign associate at Milbank in New York. He currently serves as an independent member of the Board of Directors of JP Morgan.

- Represented UBS in the sale of its Mexican banking subsidiary.
- Represented BBVA, Santander and HSBC in the establishment of structured notes programs.
- Represented the underwriters and issuers in capital notes issuance of BBVA, HSBC and ICBC.
- Represents ISDA and the majority of Mexican banks in their financial derivatives transactions.
