Gabriel Robles joined the firm in 2007 and has been a partner since 2021.

He has extensive experience in cross-border and domestic transactions in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and banking finance, advising financial institutions, public companies, and private equity funds. Gabriel actively represents issuers and underwriters in the structuring and issuance of public equity and quasi-equity offerings, as well as investors in the acquisition of public and private companies. He is also involved in financing transactions and corporate restructurings for national and international financial institutions in Mexico.

Gabriel gained international experience as a foreign associate at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York.

Relevant Experience

  • Represented the lenders, in connection with an unsecured credit agreement among AT&T Comunicaciones Digitales, and AT&T Telecom Holdings, as borrowers, and AT&T as guarantor, for an amount of MXN $13,000 million.
  • Represented Barclays as intermediary, in connection with the tender offer launched by Delta Air Lines, as purchaser, for the shares evidencing 32% of the capital stock of Grupo Aeroméxico.
  • Represented Credit Suisse and Citi as international purchasers and lead underwriters in Mexico, in connection with the first SPAC in Latin America by Vista Oil & Gas, a subsidiary of Riverstone.
  • Represented Citigroup, HSBC and J.P. Morgan, as Dealer Managers and Solicitation Agents, in connection with the Offer to Purchase and Consent Solicitation launched by the Mexico City Airport Trust (MEXCAT), as issuer, addressed to the holders of MEXCAT’s international notes.
  • Represented DD3 Capital in the structuring of a USD$150 million joint venture with Selina for the joint development of Selina’s hotel portfolio in Mexico.
