Age Verification, Parental Controls and Safe Design: New Considerations for Digital Platforms

The protection of minors in digital environments is expanding the regulatory focus beyond privacy notices and consent to the way digital platforms themselves are designed.

Our associate Isabel Ortiz Monasterio Borbolla contributed as an expert in data privacy to a LexLatin article examining the potential implications for Latin America of Meta’s August 2026 settlement in the United States.
