Mexico's Coppel gets US$292 million sustainability-linked loan

Ritch Mueller represented BBVA México, as structuring agent, lead agent, administrative agent and sustainability agent, and the other lenders, in a sustainability-linked syndicated credit facility of up to MXN$5,000 million granted to Coppel, linked to its clean energy and fleet electrification targets. The transaction brings together financing from commercial banks and investment vehicles of Mexican pension funds (afores) within a single lending syndicate.
