Mexican FIBRAs raise US$1.6 billion across several debt deals
Ritch Mueller represented the Mexican underwriters (GBM, Santander and Invex) and structuring agents (Banorte and Citi México), and the initial global coordinators and initial purchasers (Citigroup, GBM International and Santander US Capital Markets), in the follow-on global equity offering of energy and infrastructure investment trust certificates (certificados bursátiles fiduciarios de inversión en energía e infraestructura, known as “CBFEs”) by FIBRAeMX for MXN$6,316 million (USD$367 million), pursuant to a public offering in Mexico and a concurrent international offering under Rule 144A and Regulation S under the Securities Act, and the issuance of additional CBFEs as in-kind consideration for MXN$3,960 million (USD$230 million), resulting in a total of MXN$10,276 million (USD$597 million).
